  Fire outbreak; Residence around Deexcess filling station, opposite Edo State polytechnic Usen  run helter-skelter for safety,as the MTN mast opposite the community filling station catch fire. The  diesel using generator inside MTN mast, opposite Deexcess filling station reportedly catch fire around 11:45am today which is Sunday. It was said that the inhabitants around the environment suddenly noticed that smoke is emanating from a designated place built with tiny wires for the MTN mast and generator. The man incharge of the key to the place was reached, and the place was opened. The manager of the Deexcess filling station,  opposite the MTN mast assist with a fire extinguisher, which was quickly used to quench the fire.  The cause of the fire is not yet known up till this moment, but an engineer has been reached to repair the generator. Strike, electricity,water, and insecurity the four major subjects of discussion deliberated on during SUG/Students congress in Edo State Polytechnic on May 11 2021. The newly elected SUG president Miss Sandra Soga Omolere and her executives  for the year 2020/2021 has held their first congress with the students of Edo state Polytechnic, yesterday in Mass communication class which is the former school hall on May 11, 2021.  Among the issues discussed are strike, electricity, water supply and insecurity. Mr President, Miss Omolere commences her speech by after the national and school anthem, she thank the students of Edo State Polytechnic for electing her, and she is ready to work for them as aforetime promised. The issue of stike was discussed and students were given equal opportunity to as questions on it.
