  Two students injured in a fatal accident that happen opposite Edo State Polytechnic Usen school gate, around 6pm on April 21. It was reported that two students from the department of Mass Communication in Edo State Polytechnic by name, Akunyemi Damilola and Seyi got involved in an accident opposite the school gate with a red car. The driver who was said to be careless divert from his path and hit the innocent students who were standing at the pedestrian lane.  According to our correspondent Kuti Solomon says "both of them has been rushed to Igbinedion hospital and they are responding to treatment, but Akunyemi has been referred to University of Benin Teaching Hospital due to the bone fracture on her two legs. Seyi is still at Igbinedion and he is responding to treatment, he has no fracture but wounds. The Edo State polytechnic Student Union Government, represented by Comrade Israel Manaya the SUG president present their complain before the school management in a meeting with the school management yesterday, after the 24hours online protest. The SUG of Edo State polytechnic who commenced online protest since April 15 as a result of some of the difficulties and unfavourable conditions and problems facing the students in the institution.
