  The management of Edo State Polytechnic gives students in the campus ultimatum of first of April 2021 to vacate the campus, and related residence. The management of Edo State polytechnic has given the lattest date for the vacation of students in campus, every related residence through a letter signed by Derrick Ogbaide, the Dean Of Students of the institution. According to the letter issued by the school management, the school feliciate with the students about the coming Easter and wish them well during it celebration. "The management wishes the students the best in their ongoing examination and a restful Easter break", said the school management. The examination which commences last week monday have all the students of the institutions focused, and all bonafied students of the institution who met the requirement as tabled by the school management were permitted to write the exam, except the freshers who were newly admitted to the polytechnic. Ganiu Kabiru Samson has outrun his major opposition Christopher with the wide margin of 66 to 14 during the Mass Communication departmental election which took place on the 16 of March, 2021.  The election started immediately after the aspirants for each posts in the department were called upon to present their manifestoes before the students by few minutes to 2pm. Students ran for safety as tempest interrupted Edo State Polytechic cultural display in Edo State Polytechnic football field. Benin declared the winner thereafter. The cultural day that has been aforetime scheduled to be on the 12th of March has reportedly been interrupted by tempest.  Students, parents ran to secure a  shelter for themselves as they could no longer withstand the havoc caused by the tempest, both the canopies, chairs were thrown down by the effect of the tempest. The strong tempest started immediately after the Ondo's came out to display their cultural ways of dancing and singing. Business Administration as again won the football cup hosted by the SUG of Edo State Polytechnic Usen. The final match took place exactly 4:00pm today, which is the 10th of March in Edo State Polytechnic football field. Business Administration initially scored the first goal through a penalty kick caused by a defender of the Electrical Science.
