BENIN TRUMPH DESPITE THE CULTURAL DISPLAY BEEN INTERRUPTED BY TEMPEST.


Students ran for safety as tempest interrupted Edo State Polytechic cultural display in Edo State Polytechnic football field. Benin declared the winner thereafter.

The cultural day that has been aforetime scheduled to be on the 12th of March has reportedly been interrupted by tempest.  Students, parents ran to secure a  shelter for themselves as they could no longer withstand the havoc caused by the tempest, both the canopies, chairs were thrown down by the effect of the tempest.

The strong tempest started immediately after the Ondo's came out to display their cultural ways of dancing and singing. Immediately the Benin's came up after the Ondo's, the tempest interrupted and no one could withstand the strong wind and rain.

Despite the event being interrupted by the tempest, the organisers move to the school complex hall with all the competitors. The event continues till 7:30pm when the Benin cultural dancers were declared the winner of the event, while the Igbos were declared the number second of the event.

The announcer of the result who explained in details to all the participants and spectators that, the cultural display wasn't rated base on dances only but the movements, questions and answer section, songs were all summed together to rate them all.
