Students in campuses should vacate lattest April 1, 2021 said Edo State Polytechnic management.

 The management of Edo State Polytechnic gives students in the campus ultimatum of first of April 2021 to vacate the campus, and related residence.

The management of Edo State polytechnic has given the lattest date for the vacation of students in campus, every related residence through a letter signed by Derrick Ogbaide, the Dean Of Students of the institution.

According to the letter issued by the school management, the school feliciate with the students about the coming Easter and wish them well during it celebration. "The management wishes the students the best in their ongoing examination and a restful Easter break", said the school management.

The examination which commences last week monday have all the students of the institutions focused, and all bonafied students of the institution who met the requirement as tabled by the school management were permitted to write the exam, except the freshers who were newly admitted to the polytechnic.

They were not permitted to write the exam as a result of the delay caused by Covid 19 pandemic, that has restricted  the previous ND1 students and others from proceeding to their next classes.
As a result of this, the newly admitted students were urged to return back home during examination, in as much they won't be attended to by any lecturer during the examination.

USEN COMMUNITY REGAINS PEACE

Usen, a community housing Edo State Polytechnic has regained back her peace some hours after a young man was shot by some unknown gun men. The incidence which happen around 3pm today left everyone in the community with tension and fear. However, some vendors, shop owners and students have confirmed that truly a young man was reportedly shot by some young men who drove to the shop of the young man by name Mr Folorunso and shot him.  However, after the incidence the indigenous security together with other security officials known as Gboolaga are fully in charged and have taken it upon themselves to ensure the community is safe for all to live and relate.

One dead Around EdoPoly School Gate

A young man has reportedly been shot dead around the school gate premises, in Usen, the community housing Edo State Polytechnic, Usen. A source confirmed it to Shalomupdatez that the issue happens around 3pm. "The demise Folorunso shot by two guys who suddenly came out of a vehicle and trigger the gun twice" he noted. Another source however also claims that the demise is a welder and his mother is a well known fish seller in Usen community. While investigating the matter, a passer by, a woman in the community was found making call saying, "your brother Folorunso whose mother sell fish has been shot, and he is dead".
