Edo State Polytechnic SUG President, Miss Soga Sandra Omolere among many wishers fecilitates with Mighty Shalom on his birthday.

Miss Sandra Soga Omolere, the SUG president, together with other executives membes of Edo State Polytechnic fecilitate with Mighty Shalom during his birthday ceremony.

Miss Sandra, the president of ESPU has wished Mighty Shalom,  a student of mass communication departmental and the interim president of Association of Campus Journalist on his birthday on the 23rd of June 2021. The wishes came from Mr President together with other executives immediately the young journalist in making posted a picture of his birthday on the school WhatsApp platform.

Live long and prosper" says Mr President Omolere Sandra.

The former president of Mass communication department popularly known as Smart Koko and his successor Samson has also taken it to their social media platforms to wish the blogger and interim president of ACJ on his birthday. They also came to his classroom to congratulate him and pray for him on his birthday. "You shall live long to witness many more years on the surface of the earth", they prayed.

Mighty Shalom in his response to the SUG  President, executives, and students of the institution says; "thanks my able President, members of the SUG executives and fellow students, we shall all live to enjoy our days on earth in good earth and prosperity in Jesus name."
 He further said that he cannot thank them enough for their enormous love and kindness shown to him during his birthday, stressing that up till this moment, messages, calls and alert have been used in felicitating with him.

USEN COMMUNITY REGAINS PEACE

Usen, a community housing Edo State Polytechnic has regained back her peace some hours after a young man was shot by some unknown gun men. The incidence which happen around 3pm today left everyone in the community with tension and fear. However, some vendors, shop owners and students have confirmed that truly a young man was reportedly shot by some young men who drove to the shop of the young man by name Mr Folorunso and shot him.  However, after the incidence the indigenous security together with other security officials known as Gboolaga are fully in charged and have taken it upon themselves to ensure the community is safe for all to live and relate.

One dead Around EdoPoly School Gate

A young man has reportedly been shot dead around the school gate premises, in Usen, the community housing Edo State Polytechnic, Usen. A source confirmed it to Shalomupdatez that the issue happens around 3pm. "The demise Folorunso shot by two guys who suddenly came out of a vehicle and trigger the gun twice" he noted. Another source however also claims that the demise is a welder and his mother is a well known fish seller in Usen community. While investigating the matter, a passer by, a woman in the community was found making call saying, "your brother Folorunso whose mother sell fish has been shot, and he is dead".
