Unknown personnels detach team Cicero's banner in Edo State Polytechnic Usen

 TEAM CICERO political banner erected at Lion's gate junction Igbinedion has been reportedly detached and taken away by unknown personnels, Edo State Polytechnic Usen.

Some unknown persons has reportedly detached the banner of a political team in Edo State Polytechnic, aspiring for posts in the Student Union Government (SUG) in the polytechnic. 

According to one of the aspirant who volunteered to always check the banner daily, he noted during an interview with shalomupdatez.blogspot.com this morning, that the banner has been consecutively over throwned three times by unknown personnels, and he has been raising the banner back to the right position, however, this morning, he was flabbergasted to see the wood void of banner. 

The banner was detached from the wood, but the wood used in rasing it up still remains at the right position  infront of Igbinedion University gate known as "lion gate". One of the aspirant also noted that, "this is just a mere intimidation either from opposition party or unknown persons and we will not succumb to it".

A source made known to our correspondence that the intimidation has commenced since October 12, a day after the banner was erected at the strategic location that leads to the polytechnic. He said; the Students affair told the team that it is not yet time for mass campaign, the only campaign the aspirants are permitted to involve in is online or one to one campaign  therefore, but the team explained that they only erect a banner and they didn't violate any order of the students affair by campaigning, of which they were considered by the Students affair to leave the banner unremoved.

The person vying for the post of the president in the team Popularly known as CICERO has not made any comment yet about the occurrence. Our correspondence has not been able to reach him.

USEN COMMUNITY REGAINS PEACE

Usen, a community housing Edo State Polytechnic has regained back her peace some hours after a young man was shot by some unknown gun men. The incidence which happen around 3pm today left everyone in the community with tension and fear. However, some vendors, shop owners and students have confirmed that truly a young man was reportedly shot by some young men who drove to the shop of the young man by name Mr Folorunso and shot him.  However, after the incidence the indigenous security together with other security officials known as Gboolaga are fully in charged and have taken it upon themselves to ensure the community is safe for all to live and relate.

One dead Around EdoPoly School Gate

A young man has reportedly been shot dead around the school gate premises, in Usen, the community housing Edo State Polytechnic, Usen. A source confirmed it to Shalomupdatez that the issue happens around 3pm. "The demise Folorunso shot by two guys who suddenly came out of a vehicle and trigger the gun twice" he noted. Another source however also claims that the demise is a welder and his mother is a well known fish seller in Usen community. While investigating the matter, a passer by, a woman in the community was found making call saying, "your brother Folorunso whose mother sell fish has been shot, and he is dead".
