A retentive memory is one of the #greatest assets a student can have. In fact, it is what makes a student brilliant and intelligent. I remember in St. Michael Pry School back then how our headmaster gave me 20# for  reciting a hymn of five stanzas after I heard it just once. Actually, the memory is #more active in younger days. We memorised without even attempting to.

Many students fail, not because they don't study, but because of a leaking memory and a faulty foundation that impedes progress. No matter how much they read, it is difficult to excel because they miss the essential ingredients of academic success. 

With a retentive memory, you can get flashes of insight that help to solve problems. You can easily pass exams if you have studied diligently. And the #opportunities to shine are limitless and boundless.

A retentive memory is every student greatest dream.  So how do you make that dream come true?
The methods I will be giving have been tried for thousands of years with amazing results. Use them in your academics too and see the amazing results:

1. READ #EARLY IN THE MORNING AND LATE AT #NIGHT.  The hours of 5-7am and 8-11pm are the best for studying. This is because early in the mornin, the brain is still very fresh and has not been cluttered by news gossip, worries, and other nonsense. Reading this early makes information stick better in the memory.

At night too, read before you sleep. No student must sleep before 11pm. A six-hour sleep of 11-5 is enough for anyone young. Excessive sleep can make you smoggy. Sleep is absolutely essential but it must not be too much.

When you read from 9-11 and then sleep afterward, your brain processes what you have read and stores it into the memory more effectively thru the night. You may even dream about it.

The brain works better on what you do just before you sleep. That's why you will most likely have a bad dream  if you watch a horror movie before sleep. And that's why you will also eat in your dream if you did not eat before sleeping. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS WHEN YOU WAKE AND SEE GARRI IN YOUR MOUTH!😀
