EDOPOLY: SUG PAYS A COURTESY VISIT, PRESENT AWARD TO OLU-OGBE II
The leadership of the Student Union Government, Edo State Polytechnic, Usen, led by Comr Eromosele Ehis has presented an award to the His Royal Highness, Oba Olu_Ogbe II during a courtesy visit to the Oba Palace.

The Union president, Comr. Eromosele Ehis noted that the award was given to the King to commemorate him for his effort and constant support for the Students'  Union Government.

The president in his expression says "We presented an Award of honor to him (the Oba) as to commend his tremendous support towards the growth and progress of the Union and also in appreciation of His selfless services to Nigerian Students in the institution and the community at large".

The Oba, Olu_Ogbe II While reacting to the warm visit, commended the leadership of the Student Union Government, Edo State Polytechnic, Usen 2022/2023 administration, saying that the administration is known for excellence and peace.

He further say some words of prayer and bless them.

USEN COMMUNITY REGAINS PEACE

Usen, a community housing Edo State Polytechnic has regained back her peace some hours after a young man was shot by some unknown gun men. The incidence which happen around 3pm today left everyone in the community with tension and fear. However, some vendors, shop owners and students have confirmed that truly a young man was reportedly shot by some young men who drove to the shop of the young man by name Mr Folorunso and shot him.  However, after the incidence the indigenous security together with other security officials known as Gboolaga are fully in charged and have taken it upon themselves to ensure the community is safe for all to live and relate.

One dead Around EdoPoly School Gate

A young man has reportedly been shot dead around the school gate premises, in Usen, the community housing Edo State Polytechnic, Usen. A source confirmed it to Shalomupdatez that the issue happens around 3pm. "The demise Folorunso shot by two guys who suddenly came out of a vehicle and trigger the gun twice" he noted. Another source however also claims that the demise is a welder and his mother is a well known fish seller in Usen community. While investigating the matter, a passer by, a woman in the community was found making call saying, "your brother Folorunso whose mother sell fish has been shot, and he is dead".
